Michael and Fawnette invite you to our remarkable place, a boutique hotel centred on one of the most beautiful beaches in Sint Maarten. They purchased the property in 2003, at the time it was abandoned for many years and in a state of disrepair. It took four years to complete the first renovation and second renovation was completed in 2023. Fawnette is a native to Los Angeles and Michael is from New York, They met in Atlanta, Georgia in the 1990's art scene. Together they owned and operated an art gallery in Atlanta, where we featured their art and other artist's work. They decided to move to St. Maarten after 2002. Their vision was to integrate their passion for art with their love of the beach to create a unique boutique hotel with the charm of an artist's studio. The Azure art studio is where the couple creates original works of art (visit by appointment only). Their paintings adorn the guest rooms and some are for sale, they also paint by commission. A passion for art is only equalled by their love of people. The Azure gives us them the opportunity to enjoy both in an exquisite setting. Fawnette is the consummate wedding planner and minister. The Azure is a perfect setting for a wedding or any other special event.
